"Who's Online" colors. Input requested.

Which display colors(s) do you prefer? This would be shown in the "who's online" list at the bottom of the board.

DON'T FORGET YOU CAN VOTE FOR MORE THAN 1 COLOR. If you really like a particular color and want to push for it, just vote for one color. If you vote for multiple colors it dilutes your "desire" for that color.

The idea being these would be used for the "who's online" list at the bottom of the board based on various factors. Posts, Street Team Rank, Moderators, Benefactors, Supporters etc.

Any suggestions as to what colors seem most appropriate for what status a DGNer is are welcome.

Restarted this topic (maintaining the original votes but not the comentary) to try and get a more accurate feel for what people may prefer.

Commentary is welcome, just wanted to start at least half-fresh with this one. Why exactly I'm forgetting now that I am typing it out. Doh. Must be a spacetime distortion caused by the speed at which I bolted out of my DGN slave labor camp to post something somewhat more fun than what I was working on.

As I said last night, I think Moderators should be their own colour.. that way people don't have to hit the little "My Assistant" thing to figure out who the Moderating team is, regardless of whether or not they donate.

number two kinda disappears in a glare, I voted for number 8 it's easy to read but still stands out

3 and 6 seem to stand out better after changes

5, 6, and 8 stand out best without being obnoxious. 2 is way hard to read. 8 is the most low-key, maybe use that for "regular" members and brighter colors for Mods, street team, whatever?

I agree w/Hunhee re: having our fine Moderation team in their own color, would make things easier.

3 stands out well and goes best with the general board colors. Others may stand out more (Yellow, pink) but I hate having a rainbow of colors when that's not the theme...
