So my sister is having her bachelorette party at Boogie Fever in Ferndale, and she wants all her party guests to dress in 70s or 80s fashion. I wasn't born till 1986 so I have no idea.

Anyone have any links to places that sell this types of clothing?

Yea, try Salvation Army or the like.

Hot Topic at least usually has accessories for cheap too.

OMG you poor thing! I avoid that place like the plague.. Going to CC after to defunk? (hehe literally)

All of the above are good suggestions.. I think you'd look great in the madonna punk look from the era.

I have a hair crimper you can borrow ;)

Please for the love of gods...no knitted ties...especially in pastels. Unless you wear them as a bandana.

Yeah, kind of trapped in the '80's here.

I'm probably going to end up getting trashed there just to deal with the music. I totally threatened going as a 70s punk with a mohawk.

So I got my dress for my sisters party. It's actually a 3 tiered skirt that can be worn as a dress. I found it on etsy.com because that place rocks.

It's an alright club, I got in when I was 18 because I knew someone and they let me in and to drink underaged.

As for 80's oufits? I really don't think you're going to find one definitive place like "80s 'R' Us" or some shit, I think you'll have to look at pictures and just improvise. Good luck. 80's style is very easy to find if you know what you're looking for, so do some research and the rest will fall into place!

Heritage 1981 or Forever 21. Also Urban Outfitters.

How is it typical that after I get the outfit I was going to wear for this, that she cancels it. They're not having bachelor/bachelorette parties now and are just doing at BBQ.
