Simon Bar Sinister Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 who/what gets worshipped by DGNers? I know there's at least a couple of Bastet cases here...
candyman Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 I don't really "worship" anything...considering that when its all boiled down they are all the same thing...but if I had to choose it would probably be the Norse gods...and I do not worship Surtr like the Pagans do...and none of the symbols that I hold with high regard have anything to do with Hitler and Nazi Germany... Odin the Wanderer
Scary Guy Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Science, logic, reason, thinking and creativity "Bob" and the Church of the Subgenius which mocks Science, logic, and reason (but more importantly other insane religions as well). My dilemma is do I promote reason and understanding or continue to make fun of delusional people by acting like one of them. "Act like a dumbshit and they'll treat you as an equal". I also worship my car. Finally my close friends and my fan base without which I am nothing.
GothicRavenGoddess (3) Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 who/what gets worshipped by DGNers? I know there's at least a couple of Bastet cases here... its just Bast. I called her Bastet one day, on my multi-pathed magickal forum, and several of my South African Friends -who have followed/used Egypian God/esses in their practices for the last 20 years or so-- reamed me for it.. (just FYI. Not doggin you, just passing it along. ) I follow The Goddess, Lady Moon, The Mother Of Us All, The Tripple Goddess, whatever name you wish to call her.. I simply call her Tessa, for that is the name she has given me to call her.

Scary Guy Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Silly Scary Guy ... she's not a girl I'm dating. Oops, sorry, my bad Still the statement still stands at least on my part.
GothicRavenGoddess (3) Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Oops, sorry, my bad Still the statement still stands at least on my part. its alright, hun. and yes... if she's worth it, worship her. (well, not totally of course, that would be silly. lol) worship a lady, and she will, in turn, worship you. ( i mean a person, not a deity. )
Scary Guy Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 worship a lady, and she will, in turn, worship you. Either that or put out a restraining order :/
GothicRavenGoddess (3) Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Either that or put out a restraining order :/ yeah, that too... unless she knows about it, and is ok with it. just be careful.
