Homicidalheathen Posted March 3, 2009 Author Posted March 3, 2009 LOL There is an alpha male in the sky....lol
Homicidalheathen Posted March 3, 2009 Author Posted March 3, 2009 Ok the guy is officially a dumb ass. He calls America the worlds only super power. Hello...what about all of asia which has been far more advanced far longer. He has some good points but skip the 1 video I do think too many people die for their beliefs but not just the right to practice them. Just the differences, not the rights to do what you want in the privacy of your own home.
Rev.Reverence Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 LOL did you guys actually watch? I saw it months ago...you put it up on a thread called "A WARNING FROM GOD" that I started a while back; oh GREAT SPAM MASTER!
Rev.Reverence Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 LOL ..are you laughin' 'cause you forgot that epic thread? I am
Homicidalheathen Posted March 3, 2009 Author Posted March 3, 2009 I watched. Don't like how he says all religion doesn't go for evolution..paganism does. Some buddists as well believe in it. He focused to much on christianity and muslims.

He focused to much on christianity and muslims. That's the problem with everyone...they strive for an absolute...there are none..it is clear to me anyways.
phee Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 I don't know if you have read his work, but he does allude to that here and there... He states that his main focus is on the major religions because of how widespread they are... but that even smaller religions should be looked at the same.
Homicidalheathen Posted March 3, 2009 Author Posted March 3, 2009 I agree with most of his live and let live philosophy. I took my kids to every church in the area...every denomination but jewish...I wasn't sure if they would let me in. I think you have to be one to go...? I suppose in a way I was forcing my spiritual beliefs on them...didn't realize it at the time. By telling them just be spiritual...I don't care which one you pick...I was being anti atheist. Dunno if that is good either.
phee Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 No one is perfect.... Being spiritual is a choice that I leave up to the individual... but I think that being spiritual in general is kind of a choice that a lot of people take a bit lightly.

A part of phee that makes phee not like MOST other Atheists...they are very judgmental...thinking that no one should believe in G*D (or that they are less for it) is just as wrong as thinking you've found thew ONE TRUE RELIGION... ...yeah..allot of peoples put about as much thought into their Spiritual/Religious path (or lack of one)...as they put into changing their oil in their car REGULARLY
phee Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Wow.... I am watching the second one now..... scary stuff

peelingchrome Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Wait just a minute... don't you have to admit there IS a god to say that you don't >believe< in one?
phee Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Wait just a minute... don't you have to admit there IS a god to say that you don't >believe< in one? One has to admit there is a concept of one.... I mean... I might not believe in minature pink unicorns that live in your small intestine, but just because I can think of it, does not mean that I need to believe in them first.
