Ha ha ha! I was there toward the end of the night. See, what happened was just classic Calix. I showed up at the Works for 80's night one week early. Total fuzzyheadedness or wishful thinking? (My Friday the 13th is already spoken for.) Any way, idjit that I am, it took me about 15 min. of swilling my Sapphire and Tonic and staring at kids in tanktops and phat pants for it to dawn on me that something was horribly, horribly wrong. Ah well. (Really, it took me less time than that, but I figured, 'what the hell, get a drink and stay a while and maybe the music will improve.' Nope, it got bubblier. But then I didn't want to waste a good gin and tonic.)

CITY was fun though. I recovered my orange lighter and things went much better. Thanks, MinaRose, for restoring the light in my life. I saw many wonderful people, but I'm afraid I might not recount all names. Forgive me if I have omitted you. Most memorable was greyhalo, BlackJack, MinaRose, Skyfire (did you elude the blueberry? was scary.), Allison, Riku and TheOsakaKoneko. Yay!
