Wished I hadn't gotten back from work so late so I could make this. I am home early for the weekend minus the finishing run to Flint tomorrow evening.

Maybe next week. I'm trying to be responsible though, and since my cash is SO low....

You should try to make it out if you can!! It's only 2 to get in and at .50 per drink, if you come early you can have a few drinks and still stay under $5 total!! I usually spend $4-6, and that's only because I tip! XD

Last night was fun, even though I got all emo about my equipment. The only reason it's hooked up now is because of the issues I had and I was sourcing the trouble. Last night I was only getting one channel out of my computer. I checked this by waiting and cuing a track after moving the audio cable from mix 1 to mix 3 still only getting the left audio channel. I then was going to go with Traktor all night just using two channels but rebooting (hoping that was the problem) re-enabled my viruscan which doesn't like to do two things at once so going from one song to the other really crapped the system out and that was the dead air. I then went to CDs for the rest of my set. I just tested the system and found out it was actually the cable that went bad on one side so I'm pretty happy I don't have to track down the problem since I was completely prepared to reformat my system over this if need be. Which means I can sleep more before tonight's event which will run smoother now. Thank you all again for coming out. Here's the playlist for the evening (the day after the night, wow that's rare).

A Method to Distraction by T.Raumschmiere

Monstertruckdriver by T.Raumschmiere

Listen to the Hiss by Hell & Alan Vega of Suicide

I Want It by //TENSE//

Intro by T.Raumschmiere

Not that we used the back room but I spent the evening also hooking it up correctly and going over the amps. Then we didn't do two rooms after all that which kind of depressed me as well. I suppose it was a good thing though since the hardware problems I had would have meant a larger headache.

Oh yeah on top of that I was sick with the plague or the city club or something the whole evening too, and the sore neck which I think is another unrelated issue.

After me and Sandy went to National in Royal Oak which was fun and I felt a lot better by then. I'm looking forward to next week. Thanks to all the regs for showing up, and we even had some new people too. I fully believe we can build this night into what The Labyrinth used to be, hell maybe even better.

NEED Nocker and Joey's set list!!!! NEED IT!!! There were a couple songs I didn't know and I was looking forward to this just to look them up! Pwweeeeeeeease?????? (Why is there no cute puppy-dog-eyes / pouting icon????)

There was a portion of the night that involved Christian Death and the Creatures and basically just win all around - I don't remember the entire mix in there but man musicgasms for about 20 minutes or so. I mean, the whole night basically was, but this was like the pinnacle? I need to know the names of the ones I didn't recognize!!

Overall, AMAZING NIGHT guys! I enjoyed every set! <3<3

Oops. Yeah sorry again about that. I hit the self-destruct key on the keyboard.

As for obliterated wasted drunk, close, but not really. I've been worse (ask me about the infamous "bra-on-head, cue one down" guest set at Luna). Sometimes ya just gotta cut loose, have fun and get the BS of life out of the system. I know better than to make it a habit however.

I recall second set having some Imperative Reaction "Fade into One", Dismatled "Anthem" and VNV Nations "Chrome"...

Yes fun night indeed :)

It was nice to see more people at Deadline last night. I have yet to see the second room though...

The music was great! I enjoyed dancing to "Sex Dwarf" by Soft Cell. I think Wilhelm played that track. Also, thanks to Scary Guy for playing my request. Sorry I didn't stay to hear the rest of Nocker's set. I just got really tired all of the sudden. I look forward to this night every week and hope that more people continue to check it out.

A great time, as usual. Thanks boys ;)

I was so confused when they just called you 'Nocker's friend Joey' - hahaha! I guess since you were DJing the first time I came to Deadline, I always think of you as one of the DJs, even though I know now you aren't one of the regulars (a damn shame I say!). But at least now I've made the connection and I know that Necromanta="Nocker's friend Joey"!

(I have a tendency to have this happen...I meet someone either as their DJ/DGN/whatever chosen name (ie Necromanta) and then hear them talked about by their real name and don't connect them, or the opposite - I meet them as their real name and then either hear them talked about or actually talk to them online as their chosen name and don't connect them... Ask Harold, the same thing happened with him, but for months before I realized they were the same person!!! XDXDXD) Such a weirdo I am...

Anyway great songs you played!! :D:D I will be looking some of them up! :D

Nice to see Panic Lift included in the playlist. Excellent band and excellent CD. One of the few newer acts that's incorporating a lot of styles into their music, but not blatantly ripping off anyone. Highly recommend people pick up their "Witness to our collapse" CD from Hive Records. And while getting that CD also pick up the latest from GenCab.

I do like the Panic Lift. I plan on playing Holding On until people start requesting it, haha

It please me to hear DJ's think/act this way. :respect::dj:

So much good new stuff that deserves to be played and heard.
