*sigh* Do they have to make every book I love into a movie. It was one of my favorites a a child and now its one of Keegan's favorites. When he is crazy I yell "Wild thing" and Keegan says " Ill eat you up" LOL .. so adorable...

People in this day and age have lost a good portion of their imagination. Books are to hard to read. TV and Movies are much easier to just sit your kids in front of and zone out. Its a sad sad state of things. Such a shame in my opinion. This doesn't mean i think they shouldn't make these movies. Its just sad that the movies will and are replacing some of the best literary works ever done.

that was my fav book as a kid BEFORE it became major popular.

I think I still have the original print somewhere around here...the cover is missing.

OMG it looks awesome! I am taking the kids! yes, they are 20. so what???

Yep. :/

I find myself being sucked into this, even though I'm a fairly hardcore reader. Just the social pressures to "watch the movie" are so heavy, along with the lack of time/energy to follow the "classic" source material being difficult to maintain.
