And of course... the video was posted by a Juggalo! woot woot! We are kind of bizarre semi-mythical creatures ourselves...

Love the albino beasties... they are sacred in Shinto tradition and often kept at shrines. But WTF is that in the pic w/the Civil War soldiers? And the "camel spider" is fake, it's just a biggish but normal spider being held close to the camera lens.

If all these unusual creatures exist practically in our back yard, Imagine the ones that might exist in places that people don't go....

Real zoology is fascinating in and of itself. Craptozoology is fascinating for other psychological / cultural reasons.

That is exactly why I never have and never will go to Canada. I have seen the pictures and it is a horrible, sticky, and toothless mess.

Yeah...anyways...some of these things really creep me out...I have seen mutilated bodies that disturb me to a lesser degree.

Like I mentioned before on here someplace...what I experienced was I believe a sighting of something that maybe went back one step on the evolutionary ladder....prints between a dog and bear...bigger than a dog...teeth a bit bigger and more pig like...claws were a bit bigger than a dog...this would coincide with these reports.

and it roared, not growled...and could take down a mule deer.

my neighbor had shot at it thou and we were not sure if he got it in the neck so the noise it made may have been altered

Then you might enjoy Monster Talk. It takes a far more critical look at most of the stories (I am a hard nosed skeptic, so I tend to recommend those sorts of things to others) but is fairly entertaining, and includes various experts to attempt to discern what is and is not possible.
