Rev.Reverence Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 "this administration prefers to avoid using the term 'Long War' or 'Global War on Terror' [GWOT.] Please use 'Overseas Contingency Operation.' " ..HAHAH! They are just changing the names of the crises that we are in... ....I believe they are... ..........there you have it! "CHANGE---I BELIEVE IN! ..just like Carlin said, "It used to be 'SHELL SHOCK' then 'COMBAT FATIGUE'..." ....every time they add syllables it becomes more ambiguous & less scary.
Gaf The Horse With Tears Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 They are replacing every term used in the Bush admin... they are still going after the same goals with them, but they are changing the terms used.
