Album Cover Ideas?

Hey gang... this is kind of a weird request...

We'll be finishing up the last bits of the new album on the 25th.. BUT We don't have cover art yet.

Now I'm not looking for artwork from people...

I'm just looking for ideas. What imagery comes to mind when you think of the music, the band, and the title.

The album is called 'Admission for the cleansing' It comes from an obscure line in a Mudvayne Song.

Tracks are:

Tears - Song about choosing your own path of religion.

Relapse - About the pains of going through drug rehabilitation

Lies and Nightmares - About the love that turns into hate.

Betrayal - About the one who loves to torment you.

The ones you hate - About the dispossessed who were left after Katrina.

War song - About riding the anger into battle.

Dark Knight - About doing what the good guys can't do. It's inspired by Batman

Against the wall - It's an anthem for the fight against racism.

Fallen Angel - About the disappointment we find when we see our heros for what they are.

Unbound - About a truly religious nutcase.

Disguise - A song against Religious zealots who prey on the week minded.

Waste - about a serial killer

Demeanor - About the two sides of every personality

There's lots of songs about religion (Mainly they are angst filled songs pissed off at religion), and Racism, but seeing as the Guitarist is the son of a Baptist Minister, and I'm black... that's not a suprise. Relapse, and Tears are probably the most potent tunes, as far as emotions go.

ANYWAY... anyone got ideas about what could go on the album cover?

I'm open to suggestions.

the nakey women can be the groupies...your voice hypnotizes them into getting nakey and donating various clothing items...like undies....bras...heh

I third the opinion that the album cover is too dark. I also don't like that the ticket partially obscures the band name. Maybe a lighter picture with more contrast would be in order--something that is instantly recognizable but still visually interesting after further scrutiny. I think the current picture fails on both counts. Sorry to be so harsh.

No need to apologize. I really appreciate honest criticism.

The reason I went for the really dark, obscured look is that I wanted people to look closer... I wanted them to go. "Wow, ok... that's a guy laying in a pool of filth mixing with his own blood... there's a ticket also in the filth, and in the reflection on the ground... a crowd of bloodied, angry people...

But this is just the first mock up of an idea. I have more ideas coming down the pipe.
