I try my hardest to keep my hair the same color as this font, but seeing as red dye fades the fastest I dye my hair a lot.

What do you do in order to make your hair all pretty after too much dye? (or hair dryers or flat irons)

I (when I remember to) put ultra conditioner on my hair before I go to sleep, it seems to work pretty well, but I hate going to sleep with wet hair.

I dye Me hair frequently as well.. I also bleach it out every 3-4 months... & My hair is shiny & healthy..

I go to Beauty supply stores, & they have conditioner packets for about $2 a piece... It helps the color stay longer & it makes your hair really soft.. I also use V05 {in the tube.. the gold label} for everyday conditioning on dry hair.. You only use a tiny bit and rub it on your hands & spread from the ends up... It helps with daily shine & conditioning

It's expensive, but well worth it...

Purology NanoWorks shampoo & conditioner. NO sulfates, which fade the haircolor. After 4 uses of the conditioner alone, your hair will feel AMAZING.

I don't wash my hair unless I'm getting either smoke or hairspray out of it. Usually that ends up being once a week, which is fairly good for dreads. Of course, by wash, I mean "rinse in soapy water or maybe scrub with a bar of soap".

I don't mind dyeing my bangs once every few weeks with a vegetable dye (special FX, adore, etc.) because that takes only a small amount of dye. My problem areas are the parts that were dyed black and then lifted 2-3 times. Once hair gets that damaged by lightening, one can either cut it off or go to a salon.
