Mythbusters is about the only show I make an effort to watch each week.

Other than that the history channel or the military channel are often what I leave on.

I don't really watch TV as it comes out, I usually just wait and watch full seasons of stuff after its been out for awhile. Much eaiser to follow and allows me to pick & chooose from the best of what is out there rather than something that just happens to be "new".

Recommended:

Nova Origins (Neil Tyson)

Frontline

The American Experience

Twilight Zone (Original)

Rome

Firefly

Guns, Germs & Steel

Deadwood

The Universe

Cosmos (Carl Sagan)

Heroes (at least season 1)

The Ascent Of Man (J. Bronowski) (A bit rough, but worth watching as if its a college course)

The World At War (BBC)

The Civil War (Ken Burns)

The Sopranos

Battlestar Galactica (New)

Curb Your Enthusiasm

first few seasons of The Shield and Oz are great.

The list could go on but I'll stop there.

Theres a few currently running shows I love. Little people big world, Jon and Kate plus eight, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, Michigan Out-Of-Doors. I wont dare list the shows of old.

On the rare occasion that I watch tv anymore (as it's being broadcast--not DVD's of old series), I'll watch "Law & Order" (because when isn't it on?) or maybe "The Daily Show".

Recently, I've slept through DVD's of "Animaniacs".

Yep. That's about it.

      On a different note, I can't believe this month is half over already.

      ~~~~~ Wait, what? With as hot as it has been, that sounds like it would have been a great idea.  Or did it interfere with something?
      Wow, we had a brief power outage on Friday morning and I just now had time to boot my computer back up.  It has been a crazy time, but I did get my vehicle back Friday afternoon and new tires put on it Saturday morning.   After 2 years, finally got the AC repaired and the frame rewelded from last year's "repare".  These guys at Gratiot Auto Center: Chris P., Sevo and Damon...Lifesavers!!!   They used to be called Roseville Auto, but this is a new group because I didn't recognize anyone and they didn't have any records of working on my previous vehicle.  Also, there seems to be 2 shifts of workers because I didn't know anyone there today when I went to have the maintenance light turned off from the service that was completed Saturday.   It was literally like night and day.  Chris P. was laid back and handled things with a steady flow, Minnesota Fats style.  The guy today was rushed and hectic like an extra from Everybody Loves Raymond.
