Copied from the instant Gratification thread:

I have browsed the member lists for those who have Yahoo messenger, I currently have 98 DGN'ers on my yahoo list. Never is there a lack of instant gratification. At times, I have even started Yahoo conferences with all the members from DGN that are on yahoo so that I can get immediate input on something I am cooking up or if the board is down.

If you would like to add me to your list, I am Marblez1175

Do you..uhh yahoo?

And to everyone that prefers another IM program - Yahoo is the DGN preferred messenger. It won in polls as well as having been endorsed by Troy for reasons including the fact that we have a DGN yahoo group.

Yahoo & Aim: Afiendslullabye - On a side note.. Has anyone tried that Zango messenger?? It takes all your sn's and puts them in one messenger. I tried it for a while, but I hadn't heard much about it as far as safe for your computer so I haven't used it much since.

*BTW - please disregard the yahoo profile info spots.. I get a lot of random assholes I.Ming/emailing me with disgusting shit so if you're wondering why it sounds rather pissy thats why. I just forgot to mention that.

For an all-in-one messenger, I recommend and use GAIM.

Whereas I use and recommend Trillian (ceruleanstudios.com). It handles AIM, YIM, ICQ, and IRC. It is feature-rich and easily customizable, and has lots of available plug-ins and skins.

Gaim is open source and completely free, and does all of that plus Jabber, Gadu Gadu, MSN (I didn't see it listed in what you said but as far as I know it used to do that). Also supports many plugins and is multi platform since it is open source. You can compile it on anything.

Just saying, but use whatever you perfer, I do know file transfers work better over trillian (but I use IRC for those anyhow).

Trillian does do MSN as well. I knew I was forgetting something. I use pro, which there is normally a charge for...

I hadn't heard of GAIM before. I'll have to look into that.
