I picked up the second edition of Zombies!!! the other day. Kill zombies, and get your friends eaten. That's a fun evening right there.

I have been playing Morton's List. And a card game my friends and I have made up, called "Maow"

I've got zombies 1 & 2 and the appropriate bags o' zombies. Seems a bit tiresome, after the "wow neat! zombies!" thing wears off. Maybe the other zombies addons make it more involving, which I've not gotten to yet.

I'd recommend:

Heroscape (Can play this one forever)

Settlers

Magic: the gathering (Basicly never need another game.)

Warhammer 40k (this is for the AP class only.)

for more simpleton fun that you can play with people that don't really like "in depth" games:

Purto Rico

Apples To Apples

Fact or Crap

Great website for games (beware fellow nerds you'll be reading for hours)

...snip...

Yeah, the other expansions change the game quite a bit, but it's still not something I could play every day. Also, I've got an exceedingly vicious group of gaming buddies, which tends to keep almost any game interesting. Especially since revenge carries over from game to game.

Nuclear Risk, the mother of all games. Combines the rules for RISK and Flying Buffalo's Nuclear War. For more fun add the Nuclear Proliferation, Nuclear Escalation, and/or the Weapons of Mass Destruction expansions.

Complicated.... Absolutely,

Time Intensive.... Indeed,

Fun...Oh yes.

I remember the old Nuclear War game. Wow. Seems like 1000 years ago. Flying Buffalo , wow. Good times.
