I haven't seen it yet, I generally wait till things come out on video, but I've heard mixed reviews.

I saw the bootleg copy with missing special effects and editing needed (like getting rid of the wires and mats in the shot) a couple of weeks ago. Then last night I saw the finished version in theatres. As a fan of the comic series, but knowing how movie translations are I never go into the movie comparing it to it's comic counterpart. So I won't go into comparisons and what was and wasn't acurate. Overall I liked the movie a 4 out of 5 in my book.

I heard from a great many dorks, that it sucks. I'm not going to waste my money. I trust the dorks ... completely.

I thought a couple scenes were contrived ("He might tell you where the island is, but you have to fight him first,") but overall I though it was a fun movie and I enjoyed it immensely. I would see it again.

I was expecting to see it a few days ago but some drama threw a monkey wrench in things. Not sure if it will happen for awhile now.

Reviews seem to be very mixed.

I'll wait for the DVD to come out. Mix reviews are confusing.
