Sounds like a Hammond organ run through some effects. I can't imagine Jamaican music stores/studios having a whole lot of synths to offer at the time of recording, but the Hammond was an industry standard/studio staple back then. Would be rather surprised if it was anything but a Hammond.

I'll try that. (Not a Hammond..a synth that sais Hammond on the 'puter-box..I don't have the what, $20,000 or so.)
