DJDeadbeat Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 (edited) MAY 29th @ the Magic Stick HOLY FUCK (Lo-fi keyboard driven punk) and best of all...CROCODILES (who did a split with Blessure Grave and Cold Cave)! "Crocodiles are a two-piece from San Diego, USA formed in 2008 playing lo-fi new wave, featuring former members of The Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower. So far they have released a 7” on Zoo Music, and have two forthcoming split 7”s with a number of artists plus an LP entitled ‘Summer of Hate’" with guests Plain Dealers who I'm hoping are also great! Don't miss this one! 10 bucks 8PM http://www.last.fm/event/1034769 Edited May 12, 2009 by DJDeadbeat

DJDeadbeat Posted May 30, 2009 Author Posted May 30, 2009 Didn't make it anywhere tonite. How was the gig? It was amazing. Plain Dealers were pretty boring, however Crocodiles really kicked out a great show. They both got on stage and put on black shades and the drum machine kicked into Neon Jesus. That song is given so much more attitude live. They played all of their great songs "Soft Skull", "Flash of Light" and "Refuse Angels". The singer looked like a cracked out Bob Dylan stage and had some feel funky moves. They'll be back. They have to. The crowd went nuts!
