MySpace or Facebook?

BTW: There is no legitimate active "Troy Spiral" myspace page. One exists, but it is a fraud using my name, and using it very badly. There is an ancient MySpace music spoken word page that is still up but I long ago lost access to the email account that it was set up under. If you get any friends request from "Troy Spiral" on MySpace it is a fake. There is a quasi-active "DGN" myspace page.

I made a personal Facebook placeholder page.

i like them both. i use myspace to talk to friends and facebook to play games

Facebook. More legitimate looking if a potential employer googles your name.

Oh yeah! I was supposed to make a facebook! :p

I'll have to do that this week...

Myspace, since Facebook is too restricting on how you use the page. They also won't let me use a nickname and I can't just switch off ALL applications on it like I can Myspace.

I agree with scarry guy. I don't like the search option on facebook but I found lots of my high school friends on there so its superior in that aspect but I much prefer myspace.

Facebook, by far. I scarcely use my myspace.

Ditto. It's better organized and easier to keep track of what friends and family are up too. I'd like a little bit of customizing options in terms of colors but I don't want a free for all like MySpace where, half the time, I can't even see/read what's going on.

neither

and those comment sites..ya can gat a virus from them

i only come on here where i know its safe

I do agree with that...sometimes the kiddz do get carried away...

I did find out though, you can highlight the text & then it glows so you can read it.

Facebook= Myspace for grownups.

I'm spending way more time on Facebook since I've lately reconnected with several old college buddies that I haven't communicated with for at least 20 years. I like being able to keep track of family members, too. I must say I don't like some of the recent changes, but I still prefer it over Myspace.

And yeah, I've seen some Myspace pages that are damn near impossible to read. I don't like having music blasted at me the second I open a page, either.

I have not made my Facebook yet.. Perhaps I shall do that today, we are really slow... So I'll let you know which one I like more in a few weeks ;)

I just made a Face book last night and found my old high school crush. She still looks great!

But its a fun ride on that track.

There are things that I like and don't like about each of them, but if I am actually going to talk about myself, I prefer livejournal to either one.

Everything Scary Guy said. Plus, Facebook is just a total overload and I can't figure out most of it. MySpace is much simpler. And I hate how on Facebook every five seconds I get inundated with ...

Your friend is hungry.

Your friend added a widget.

Your friend just had breakfast.

Your friend is going shopping.

Your friend has a new friend.

Your friend took a dump.

Here are a bunch of people you might know but probably don't like.

Your friend gave you a bumper sticker, a smiley, graffiti, a wedgie ...

SHUT UP ALREADY!!!

Myfacespace.

I prefer Facebook these days, though Myspace has its perks.

Livejournal, holy crap. Almost forgot about that. Not sure how. Seemed like everyone on the planet that had internet access back in the day had a LJ account. I remember thinking it weird that anyone would use something other than LJ for an "online diary". I especially thought the default setup for MySpace was crappy for that purpose. (Long before Facebook was on the map.) I have one floating around out there somewhere that I used to update regularly. Forgot about it for probably 8 years until just now though. *ponders*

I guess I would have to lean toward myspace.

Fartbook is actually quite boring; I suppose if I were to run into more people that I know on there, it would be better.

But you can't customize the page at all. Its just a boring white screen *zzzzzzz*

I like both personally. I use facebook to keep in touch with family, especially since my sister posts all the pictres of the kids on there. I like myspace for my other stuff though, like my blog.

I started off with myspace...eventually turned to facebook...it still feels like I am on the outside watching my friends...but, you all wouldn't post things if you didn't want the "public" to see....right???
