What made my day: vintage giant baggy kikwear jeans with legs bigger around than the waist.

What made my week: peace and quiet... no eight year old kid in the house, he went to his grandmothers on the other side of the state for seven days.

Realizing that, even though I don't have a day-off as I thought I did tomorrow, I now am off work by 3 on Friday instead of working until 10...which means, I get to surprise my mom with actually being home when she gets back from India.

I had a magazine article published in Dec '07. I just got an e-mail from the editor today saying they would like to reprint it. If that's not exciting enough, they're giving me 60% more money for the reprint! I need to write more. Just 1 article a week and I could double my current income.

A little girl at my work telling me her mom had an earring like the one in my lip (a captive), in her ear. And then she got really excited when she saw my actual ear piercings...and said they were cool.
