Microsoft has been outsourcing its services for the past 18 months (or so) so I lost my Desktop "Live" log on when they shifted to an overseas host server. Then they dropped services to prepare for the new Windows upgrades. Now they have relocated Outlook email services (i.e. Hotmail, MSN, Live, etc.) to a new server which caused some major downtime for non-upgraded members. I just regained access a few hours ago.  I suppose pretty soon, I will have no choice but to fall in line and follow the masses to land of the almighty software/tech upgrade.

I think I would actually donate more to the ASPCA if they actually sent help when you contact them and if their commercials didn't sound so utterly hopeless. However, I must admit, they have treated me exactly the way their commercials sound. 

I have contacted them for animal abuse and need of rescue on 6 separate occasions. Unfortunately, it was either a holiday (and they let me know that) or they couldn't send anyone out for their own protection (still don't understand that one) or the animal in need was not in my possession (if it were, trust me, I wouldn't be calling the ASPCA because I would have just handled the animal myself).

So with the exception of begging for money, I really have no idea what the ASPCA actually does for the average individual who needs their assistance and/or services. Since I do donate to them during purchase checkout, I truly hope they are helping someone.
