What Are You Thinking?

I'm wondering how it's going to feel in five months when my daughter turns 20 and I'm 37. Damn! That's crazy, I remember when I was 17, 18 and I thought, "how the hell am I going to do this?" My daughter when she was 18 said this to me: "I am like just trying to figure out, life, and what I'm going to eat, my college class schedule and how I'm going to pay for that and thats stressful, how did you, I couldn't imagine how you had me already and college stuff and everything else..how did you do that? She was awestruck. I was kinda feeling like a superwoman at that moment I'm not going to lie but in the back of my mind I was thinking... How do we do it, we just do it it's crazy thinking back on everything.

Oh, and I'm proud to say my Angelica successfully finished her first year of college as of Friday!!! :jamin

Yes, I am a proud mommy.

Since schools were closed today due to teach walkouts, I have a feeling schools will be closed again tomorrow.

How ironic, with everything that is going on with DPS not paying teachers and teacher on walk-out, today is "Teacher's Day"...

Smokers need to realize, just how horrible the smell, from smoking, is.

I was at work yesterday, and someone walked by me, who I could tell, was a smoker, because they Smelled like one.

They walked by, and 20 minutes later, when I finished the work I was doing, where I was, the smell from them, was still there.

When I have the time, I might look into personality disorders more and the evidence behind them, and then see how they might correlate with attachment theory.  More than likely though, I'll completely forget about it like a human goldfish.

Odd things happen when you tell you're doctor to never, ever prescribe you percocet or norco or opiate pain meds again. For the first maybe week for me I was "dope sick" meaning I had body aches, nausea, fluish symptoms. That went away and I was afraid I'd have worse than I did but after almost three weeks I have a lingering symptom of insomnia, like I just lay there all night staring at shit and that just gives me time to reflect on every, single fucked up thing over the course of my existence, things I could have changed and things I had to let go because I had no control of those.

Anyway, the point is I slept last night cause zzz quil and I am awake now and I am so very aware of things that it makes me want to down all the zzz quil and wake up whenever the shit wears off but this attitude will not suffice as all my bullshit will still be there whenever I wake up again.

That being said...hold on...

Here's the managers response. At first I was mad at the lady up there but now I understand why she was so angry dealing with a sarcastic cunt like this.

Since i stopped smoking (which has been a long while) it is pretty strong.  It doesn't "bother" me much , just because I was / am so used to it, but for people that don't like it , its strong. Typically this comes from regular smokers that have come from an in-the-house smoking is allowed home without washed clothes / shower.

What's scary is when they grow up physically but still do stuff like don't wash their hands after the bathroom and you're like over 30! Eww
