This is why I try to use a more varied vocabulary... If I compliment you it will be specific and I usually like the words, "fabulous, amazing, of much awesomeness..." I did have a "that's hot" phase for a while though.

i think, in general, it's got a lot to do with attitude & how one comes across to others. seems like if you're overtly physical/sexual, you get "hot"; if you're more of a fun personality, you get "cute", "adorable".

but what do i know!?
