I've wasted too much of my life defending myself against shallow, ignorant people, that I don't waste my time with it anymore. Some people choose to live in their sad, pathetic little worlds. I have better things to do with my time and better people to spend my time with.

I think that the best way to deal with inflammatory comments is to ignore them.

Edited to add: Because we aren't going to change the minds of the people who make them, but rather give them more opportunities to exploit our weaknesses, and I'm just not going to do that anymore.
