When Mugen was alive, my black berkshire rat, he would beat up Gitzie as he was a free-roam rat (had a cage, but hardly came home to it). He had the tactical advantage in the house because he would run the hell out of some furniture, bite the shit out of her ankles, and ran back under something before she even knew wtf was going on. Toward the end of his life, if I let him out of the cage, The Gitz would cower in a corner like a little PUSSY (no pun intended, but still well placed nonetheless).

It played out JUST like a barfight. Gitzie was chillin her favorite chair. Sammy wanted to be friends, and does not seem to get that Gitzie is a cat supremacist, as much as we tell her how bigoted and ignorant that is. Some people never change. But Sammy tried to lick her face, she tried to hold back, but Sammy was SO annoying she tore her shit up. Then Sammy tried to lunge back at her, to which Gitzie would have ruined her life, and so I held the dog back for her own safety. Thinking Gitzie was going to be the bigger man and walk away, I sat back down...but Gitzie turned around, her rage returned, and she cornered the dog and hunted her mercilessly and I had to step in once again and 86 Gitzie out of our room. You think at 10 years old she would be more mature than that, but no, like I said....some people never change!

Glad I figured out how to work my schedule for work. See, most other agents hate working late night and weekend. I was figuring that more hated working late night weekdays than weekends, but I was wrong. So for the first two weeks I would wait for the schedule blocks to roll out (they do so at three separate times on Thursday, and at each time we're allowed a certain amount of time slots we can grab up), and so I thought I was being clever by snatching up a crazy amount of weekend hours first thing. But I was wrong, because by second rollout ALL weekday slots are usually taken up, so by picking weekends first I was fucking myself especially since they are so desperate for agents to work weekends that most of those blocks end up being free anyway. So at the end of the week I would have worked like eight hours on the weekend, and still have a full docket of time slot allowances I couldn't use because everyone snatched up the good hours and wont' give any up.

SO...this week I picked ALLLL the LATE weeknight hours I could grab up, without grabbing up any weekend hours. Sure enough, my theory was correct, and so instead of working some piddly eight hours this week, I've got TWENTY THREE HOURS!
