Wondering where these small black spiders with the white stripe in the back are coming from. Found a second one today. never seen one like it before. Doesn't help I'm arachnaphobic.

Most likely Herpyllus ecclesiasticus (Parson Spider). If they're active, and FAST, that's what you've got. It's a common house spider.
