Class-Punk Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 (edited) I've been thinking that as important as revision is, people get more writing done if at the end of the day, they're writing for themselves and not pressured by what other people think. Its also important to use everything learned from past writing experience that's applicable to whatever's being presently written. I think writing a Literary Nonsense novel prepared me to make my Horror-Action serialization more chaotic and unpredictable, and to always put emphasis on keeping the process a manageable and fun one. KatRN05 Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 I would really like to bitchslap my aunt and cousin for bringing the family drama to my grandmother's funeral. I am fucking irritated. My cousin's son, who has not seen my grandmother in three years, is pissed that my sister's fiance is a pallbearer. So another cousin stepped down from his pallbearer duty to let my cousin's son stand in. I think he did it to keep the peace. Can't fucking wait for this day to be over.
KatRN05 Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Three weeks of ICU hell...lovely. Oh come on, ICU isn't that bad. Too bad you aren't in Michigan and doing your residency at HF. I bought the surgical residents a cookie from Subway the other night. It was busy. They worked hard and it was their first day of their SICU rotation.

Anna Phylaxis Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 I'm thinking that my old dogs need diapers, and that I can't wait til I have new carpet. But I'm in no hurry for Angel and Ben to pass in order to GET said carpet.
bean Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Jobs aren't calling, divorce is final, credit being handled..I could go to Virginia and start over. Too bad there's no jobs in my field there:-( If you can stomach the south, there are jobs in our field ++and they pay more than up here. If I could stand the heat, the accents, and the ass backwards attitudes, I would move there, but I can't so I have to hold out for Hawaii or the west coast.
kat (1) Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 I think Pennsylvania is a good place for our field too. DC and NY but the cost of living is not doable. I agree on Hawaii, lets go:-) oh Cali too but again the cost of living...Boston, wow all expensive.

Anna Phylaxis Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Maryland NEEDS good people like you. They sure as hell don't have a good selection of people in your field.
kat (1) Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 I loved driving through Maryland...it's very pretty.
Anna Phylaxis Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 I loved driving through Maryland...it's very pretty. There are a lot of pretty sights in MD. I miss it. I'll go home the last week in October to see my Mom. Fall in MD is beautiful
KatRN05 Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 People should be allowed to cry and grieve for the ones they've lost. Why do I deny myself that privilege?
