Things are good...

OK, now the kitchen sink has been thrown into the fray. When do I start tossing in fissionable uranium and plutonium?

There is no better wine on earth than Sutter Home Moscato.

Will I be a lush, and drink the entire 1.5 liter? Or, will I save some, for others to taste? *giggles*

I had a great day with Phee and the kids. I'm glad I rescheduled my stuff and he took the day off so we could keep them longer and have fun!

I need to get a couple more things done before court next week.

Possibly a small vacation this weekend.

That dress might work for the wedding next month ... I gotta figure that out.

I forgot to put gas in my car today since we were using the van all day.

The van FINALLY gets fixed this weekend!

I really need to sleep.

Hmmmm...given the extremely high gas tax in Michigan (which is supposed to fund our road work), I suspect that it's paved with papier-mâché-- made from fucked-off tax dollars.

i noticed thier starting to use tarmac last time i was down.

its all well and doesnt crack under expansion and contraction like concrete but they have to think about the wieght and speed of the trucks passing over it. we dont use tarmac with that much tar on our highways

I hope my husband didn't put his Bluetooth headset into the washing machine..like he thinks he may have. :X

That teaching in Hawaii sounds really, really good... getting the beasties out there would be an issue, though.

How to reply to the insulting email from former principal... I think "Thank you but based on the discussion at my exit interview, I have made other plans for this fall" is short, polite and to the point.

And that's a big part of the problem- the vast numbers of massively overloaded trucks, especially in the Detroit area where the the local haulers don't have to stop at weigh stations. Oh and the fact of outrageous corruption in every facet of the paving contract process.
