After sending out 15 resumes this week, it's nice to have someone respond to one of them.

Why do people use that expression "Have your cake and eat it too," as a negative thing? If I had cake, why wouldn't I want to eat it?

I wish my mom would call me back.

I am slacking a little today, but tomorrow is going to be busy, so I guess I am allowed.

That I'll stick with my regular buy & fry place. New place was way too slow, food is just fair-ta-middlin', and two teenagers were fighting in the parking lot while I was inside.

How disgraceful it is that none of the adults watching the fight did anything to stop it until the boy & girl were actually wallowing around on the ground. At least I called 911; didn't see a single other person with a phone in their hand.

That I wish I'd stopped at Bike Night at Hooters on my way home... looked like a seriously fun time.

I got the idea from a clerk at the pet store... they had these slow-down food bowls with big bumps in the bottom, so I asked her how much they were. She tells me, then leans over & whispers, "But if you just go outside & get a rock and put it in his regular bowl, it'll work just as well".

That I need to switch deodorant brands. That I want to talk to the person I kicked to the curb today, good thing I know how to quit an addiction like that... I deleted her info, couldn't get in touch with her now if I wanted to (save asking my roommate). And the not new thought... that I'm lonely. Oh and I'm bored. yep 5am? god why am I still up.
