I like the idea... we always have a blast at the juggalo picnics my buddy Havoc does on Belle Isle every year. But how 'bout someplace more centrally located? Metro is five counties away from me, and pretty far for people in, say, the NW 'burbs, too.

..well...'cause..as previously stated, I am not into traveling that far..it is hard to get a ride for 3 peoples..& a bitch to sit still for the ride with picnic gear.....everyone is more than welcome to spin the idea & go where they want...I'm planning to reenact the same ole invasion force that we always do...I'm invitin' me DGN fam, & me cafe kiddz...& this hottie from around the way ...ALSO, there is 1 cool place to meet at this park...on the point...say we goto a State Park, such as Kensington...WHERE in Kensington? that place is friekin' huge..see? I have done such invasions before...I am offering my driveway as a parking spot for extra cars (we can pile in on eachother & do the ride share)..

This is just what I am doing...it is not official or anything (note the thread name, I worked hard on that) I'm not voting or debating...I'm just makin' a party..& we did not do this last year, so I gotta'...it seems that ya'll who really want a BBQ somewhere elses, should enact your will & get to plannin'! I iz...

& There is a little playground for the kiddies & Trees to climb.. & Plenty of grills

Is there an actual post about this somewhere? If not i'd encourage you to make one (say in the events forum) with the details of where the place is, a map, some details about what the plan is etc. ASAP. The more time you can give people to plan ahead the better.

Yes, and every event we always cater to Westsiders. I understand that the majority of people on DGN live on the Westside...but come on, you have to let us Eastsidaz (see we spell it kooler ) have our day once in awhile too where we are catered to.

I will so be there to catch every damn fish that lives in Lake St. Clair...and then we will eat them. Oh wait...ew gross, nevermind, not from Lake St. Clair. I'll just, ya know, pull them in and say "hey kids! Ever seen a Muskie before?"

I'll try to make sure I can be there, I live like 8-10 miles from there, shouldn't be a problem.
