OMG!!! :blushing:

umm..

*thinks*

sporin? :unsure::rofl:

woah it's even better when you know them, and can throw tomatoes at them! I can't wait!!! this is going to be AWESOME!!!

Too bad you can't ask you friends to be up there, and you can throw tomatoes at THEM! MuahAHHAHA

So, I just got back from the Colorado Ren Fest. It was great. Funny story, stopped to watch a few half pints throwing tomatoes at what turned out to be a very obnoixious jester, now usually the insults on chilins' is a little less vulgar then that on adults, however this one little boogar eater got the jester in the face 4 out of 5 times, I was impressed and a little proud of the kid.

Well the jester didn't take to kindly to the shots he caught with his face so he took the moment to very foully point out that the chilin' with the great arm was very much a picture perfect representation of the "arien race" (even at the distance I was standing one could see the beautiful shining crystal blue eyes and barely believable golden locks) however the little tikes parents more resembled one from the opposite side of the spectrum. I will never forget the priceless reaction from the babe ruth, with out missing a beat he turned to the jester and fliped him the "ring" finger.

The crowd went silent. I took the jester and the rest of the crowd a few moments to relize that the little babe with an attitude wasn't actually displaying the correct sign language for the occasion. And after a swat to the back of the shoulder from dear old dad the kid restrained any further retaliation. I've never heard in all my days at fest in michigan, one child hush a whole crowd of people lol.

PRICELESS MEMORIES :)

Not just the kilt but the blouse and sword and dirk.

As far as I know, no weapons are allowed still. Last year I heard they were going to lift the weapons ban but as far as I know, that didn't happen.

I want to get in on this. My problem is lack of a ride. I am in Lincoln Park. And I have a decent costume to wear. Just need better boots.

I was talking to QueenBHorror about this and I figured I'd bring this back to life. Are we all going to meet up again this year? I'll try to make it again this year. It was by a fluke I was able to last year. I'm looking forward to a lot of fun.

I too have a bad issue of spending tons of cash there. Last year I was trying to be frugal with money and I think I ended up spending $400.

If its going to happen someone needs to make a new post and decide on a date/time. So people reading will know what to do / where to go.

Well all it usually is is "we go there on X day and meet for an hour at Y location to eat or hang out for like an hour" so it wouldn't be something that would be impossible, unless your working 24/7 with no lunch.

That's true. I'm just thinking that I'll probably be stuck at wand making.

Nevertheless, I'm still hoping I can meet up~ :] I'll try my best to arrange the schedule for it.

Finally set up my schedule. I have lane duty from 3-4, so I'll likely be in the 100s during that time. The rest of the day is filled with craft making or setting up/doing events (Children's Pie Eating, Chess Match, etc.)

Wonder if anyone is thinking of trying to schedule another one of these for this year. I figured if we started thinking about it early enough, all should be good by the time the event takes place. I'm planning on a Season Pass this time around. It would really be nice to make it to all of the scheduled events.

By the way, did anyone have photos from the previous gathering?
