Came across this via BoingBoing today, decided that the target market for these people really should be the Detroit club kids:

http://www.tacticalcorsets.com

"Going to City Club? Don't be caught dead on Cass without our Kevlar corset!"

If anyone ends up with one of these, share your thoughts on how (un)comfortable it is compared to a standard corset.

Enjoy.

there was a corset topic here a few months back where I asked the DNG women who made their own corsets if something like this was possible - not so much for the buletproof aspect (which I didn't mention at all) as for the lightness and strength of the material. should've figured someone was already doing it.

the "interrogation" pouch should be a big seller.

How do you fit the ceramic shock plates into those things?

Those are sexy..

They get style points for the whole post-apocalyptic, neo-militia look. Reminds me of video game or cartoon characters.

The corsets themselves don't look all that supportive, though, based on the picture of the girl who does not have a model's figure wearing one. Also, all of the bulky attachments around the waist kind of negates the waist cinching effect of the corset.

That's why you need waist cinching, so you can fit in all that stuff.
