Hurray I get to go armed! Is a piece tie just a piece of leahter or whatever tieing the sword to the scabboard so it cannot be pulled out?

I think they prefer to use those plastic zip ties. And in the past I have noticed they like to use bright yellow. But I try to do it before I go and use the black ones so it blends better and does not scream "PEACE TIED!"

I would tie it with a zip tie...then, to make it look authentic, you can take a piece of cloth & tie it up, on top of the plastic bit...yeah?

The VoD has three riders plus me at this point. I have room for two more if there are people not to far out of my way. I want to get there fairly early, so plan on being ready no later then 10AM.
