Everyone double check your board settings, mine were kind of jacked up and I had to fix them ... and remove the html code from your edit profile settings. This version doesn't use the html.

Troy's interests have all the html tags included in it, which is part of the reason why you have to scroll so far down to get past his post.

anyone who hit enter, while doing their's on the old DGN's has them. Mine had the html tags in them. otherwise that long list would be even longer, cuz that is the "line break" tag. everything that was meant to have its own line, would. I changed my interests to something shorter.

looking through some of the threads, it looks like some of the smilies aren't active either.

I'm seeing a lot of "name of smilie.gif" or whatever the name of the smilie is. sometimes its the same smilie, sometimes its not. like if two are side by side, one will work, and one won't. its weird. also, some on the list aren't visible. some show up, other's don't but you are able to "select" them.

Yeah, most of those have to be added by Troy.

I tried to scan the new posts, but if I overlooked anything important or anyone was trying to reach me specifically, please PM me because it says I have "27292 new entries" and it's already 1:30 a.m. so I don't think I have time to read them all - heh heh.

Now to find out how to mark them all read and start anew.

Seriously though, the board is loading much faster for me so far than it did before with no random lockups like I was seeing occasionally (but will be deleriously happy when we get our uber-cool gothy black and deep purple back). I miss it sooo.

edited to add -- seems to mark as read you have to do each section of the forum individually (like the politics section - just open that section and then click the link in right hand corner and mark read).

I actually prefer that feature, myself.

all the settings had to be changed, so its more than likely that your's are set that way. Its just a matter of looking for the option and changing it.

Go to the main page... see those big freaking folders? Click em! It marks the entire section as "read" (red, not reed)! (correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that was the case with the old DGn? If it was, then... um... carry on, and pay no attention to the imbecile behind that computer monitor lol)

yeah, I think that almost everyone's complained about it. lol I think its a layout thing, not an option thing, or something. I don't know, I been up for 13 hours. my minds all drunk on lack of sleep. nothing I'm saying makes any sense...

It is a work in progress. But so far, things do move pretty fast in this one.

This is going to take some getting used to. Operation, wise, it seems pretty good thusfar.
