Over the few weeks the DGN software (from IPB 2.3 to 3.0) will be upgraded with some updates to the Picture Gallery , Donation Level redistribution , Street Team changes and many other smaller aspects updated/changed as well after that.

I don't like the fashion in which the replies come up. Topics were much easier to read when I could see everyone's replies, in entirety, at one glance. Also, when I am posting, it isn't showing up as a new reply, until I click on "view new posts."

That is probably a setting problem with your account. Its rare but once or twice over the years I have accidentally changed the topic display settings (it is a user-specific thing). It is hard to know exactly what you are refering to since there are so many diffenen't user settings that can change the way topics and posts are displayed.

When you are looking at the "forum view" that is... after you click on say "Nightlife" or "Health and Well Being" in the far bottom right there are settings of which topics to display, how to order the topics and such.

Then when you are actually viewing posts, in the upper right hand there is a thing that says "options" that gives various ways to display posts. Lots of different settings and ways to display things.

Hopefully that helps somewhat. I know it can be difficult to figure out what setting is doing what if one is not used to messing with the settings.

Nothing has changed with the way posts work, at least not yet. The User Interface of DGN hasn't changed any yet, due to me waiting on IPB to do something on their end.

I found it... up top where the rules link is... it says view new content... thats the same as what ya'll are looking for...

yeah the interests on the left side of each post should be truncated or removed... makes each post way to big in some cases...

also while looking at my own profile... the avatar shows up huge and is partially covered up by the "about me" section... might just be the site not resizing the avatar anymore... but i figured it was worth mentioning...

I agree about moving the gallery content.

Also, I think its a bit much to have one's interests listed under their profile. Dear Troy, you have a long list, and I have to scroll FOREVER on your post to get to the next one. How about a limit. like "say 5 things to describe yourself" and they can only be like 15 characters long, ect, for the interests. I think the rest should go in your "about me" section. Otherwise it takes forever to scroll through someone's very empty post.

other than that, I think everything else looks great. It is a bit too bright, but that's easy to get use to, as I am a member of various other forums that are brighter than this! lol

I think the interests should be under the user's profile page, not in the main boards.

Looks like settings for profiles such as whether to ask approval of friend and comments have been reset as well as settings for topic and forum subscriptions... look like they are all set to default now... might wanna check your settings

I also adore the new alert system. :D I get individual emails, for every post that's made in the topics I'm subscribed to, which is how I like it. before every email's topic just said: Topic Subscription Reply Notification ( DetroitGothic.Net ). Now it says: [Name of Thread] New Reply Notification (meaning the name of the thread that's got the reply, now shows up in the subject.) I LOVE IT!!!

New DGN should come with complimentary sunglasses... kinda like the 3D glasses they give with the 3D cartoon dvd's lol

looking through some of the threads, it looks like some of the smilies aren't active either.

I'm seeing a lot of "name of smilie.gif" or whatever the name of the smilie is. sometimes its the same smilie, sometimes its not. like if two are side by side, one will work, and one won't. its weird. also, some on the list aren't visible. some show up, other's don't but you are able to "select" them.

Troy's interests have all the html tags included in it, which is part of the reason why you have to scroll so far down to get past his post.
