yes it is! this is my fav anime.. I have dolls book s the dvd of all the episodes.. now im just looking for the english version of the video game ..

wow my first night on and not only do i find people who even know about S.E. lain but actually like it! sadly i have not heard anything about a game but when it comes down to it fo we want to ruin the image of such a great anime with the idea of what will most likely be a horrible game? i personally woulsnt risk it

Yeah.. I hear that.. That series is such a mind-fuck.. Absolutely delightful... Perfect Blue is in the same Vein BTW...

ive never actually seen perfect blue but ive heard things another one along the lines of lain though even as far as animation goes is called boogeypop phantom that one was crazy as well and also hybayne remke(i know i spelled that wrong) that one was actually drawn by the same guy ( something i wont even begin to try and spell abe)

I've heard good things about Boogeypop but not seen it. I LOVE Cowboy Bebop though! Oldschool stuff like the Harlock Saga are great too! Space Opera!!!!

I found this about the game but i havent found anything about a american version but i highly doubt that there is one either way i hope it helps
