For the people who were wondering about Hocico, it looks like they are only playing in Chicago. It is being advertised as "their Midwest exclusive appearance".

Every time I see this word "Hocico" I crack up...I have NO CLUE how to say it... :hrhr: That's funny to me  I know how to say almost anything...& the double set of oc & co are HELL on the tad bit of the dyslexia that ever bothers me...but, if I STARE at that word (how I usually read words that give me trouble) I can WATCH as the 'c' 'o' 'o' 'c' switch back & forth thus:

ocico

coioc

(edit to add ^^^^^ looks fuckin' cool)

I found, that, if I were to close an eye...they stop. :pirate:

They're not doing many shows in the US for this tour. I'm going to try to catch them in Seattle at the end of September.

I just saw them in Denver at the Vendetta Festival. Last night they played at DNA lounge in San Francisco. They are twittering the tour at http://www.myspace.com/hocicoh I wrote what seems to be an overly dramatic review (below), but really it is that intense to see Hocico live. I am very excited about the Chicago show at The Abbey October 7!

I will say this about Hocico's performance in Denver.. those two guys deliver more punch than any four or five piece outfit out there. Beyond the energy.. and believe me it is unbridled, the emotion is breathtaking and unnerving all in an instance. I have never felt such a range of emotion watching any industrial band, and it is this that makes Hocico beyond just a great and legendary act to go see.. Hocico is an experience to be had, and the Denver crowd left begging for more.. and yes, they're mad.. angry as hell.. but behind it is anguish, and all of it feels very real.

For those that want to know, I have mailed them and told them that they need to add Detroit to their list of places for the next tour, after this one. Chicago and Detroit would be a GREAT mix, and solid crowds.

The tour has been getting great crowds and incredible reviews. They are amazing live. Chicago should be a great show.. and ya, Detroit would be a great spot if there is another tour, I agree!

I won't be able to make it out there tonight...I hope some of you are going! T__T Want to go.........

Wow, it was an amazing show! Hocico and Caustic both tore the effing roof off of the Abbey.
