Msterbeau Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 Does anyone know of someone that is able to perform a marriage ceremony in a non-religious setting? B~ What kind of non-religious ceremony are we talking about? Are you looking for a justice of the peace kinda thing?
ManicQueen Posted June 3, 2005 Author Posted June 3, 2005 Kinda researching at the moment. Justice of the peace is when you go to the courts/city hall and have them do it, right? That's not what I want to do. I'm looking for someone who will come out to where ever the wedding with be and do a small ceremony. Would a justice of the peace come out and do that? Like I said, I'm still researching and trying to figure out how things work. B~
Homicidalheathen Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 St. John the 21st Century apostle from Phanamanews is ordained like 3 times but into Shamanism.

THey usual do a non denominational (sp?) cermenony or they will elt you wrtie you own vows. Lestat and i were married at a chappel and we wrote our own everything and we had about 50 people there to witness it too. eight years ago Chapel of The Shores (586) 775-7045 29801 Harper Ave, Saint Clair Shores, MI 48082 had a minister who would go out n about. listings for chappels and wedding stuff Congrats i hope all goes well when you finally get your day. lilith

ManicQueen Posted June 5, 2005 Author Posted June 5, 2005 My boyfriend did that "online ordination" a few years ago.. so can he do the ceremony? It would be a lot cheaper :laughing B~
Brenda Starrr Posted June 5, 2005 Posted June 5, 2005 I'm pretty sure that he can't marry you if he's marrying you. I'd ask someone in the know for that one.
LadyWindstone Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 FInd someone who is non-denominational. Write out your own ceremony and have them perform it. That way you can have the ceremony the way you want it. That's what I was going to do when I was engaged. Since I was a pagan who was going to marry a southern baptist, I thought it best to make the ceremony that fit US instead of our religion. Try it. It makes it a little more special that way.
Marblez Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 Sweet, you can do it for me *lol* <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I would. But you gotta pay for it. No charge for my services of course. :grin Hey, can I go on the Honeymoon for you too?... wait...err... umm....I can do what again? Hmm, distracted somehow. :devil
ManicQueen Posted June 7, 2005 Author Posted June 7, 2005 No charge for your services? Stop being so easy
