Black Cats

Does anyone else believe in the whole thing about Black cats crossing your path a bad thing. I so do very much I'll tell you why.

1st encounter I failed my test

2nd encounter driving home, 2 days later my hubbie was gone (whole nother story)

3rd enounter I was pulled over by canton and westland police with in 15 mins of each other.

tonight i was at a light and saw it run accross the street..... I made a swift get over and turn to drove 2 miles out of the way so It wasent in my path..... Has anyone else had anything happen to them with superstitions?

I always go by what Groucho Marx once said:

"A black cat crossing your path signifies that the animal is going somewhere."

I have characteristically-bad luck (hence, my nickname), so I really don't think the "black cat" thing makes any difference, in my case.

I must be a descendant of Bad Luck Schleprock.

Maybe the cats were warnings that you needed to be especially mindful of something...

I love cats, they are wise beasts, and black ones are power animals. So it's hard for me to think any encounter with a cat could have negative meaning.

I guess i could read it as a warning as something is gonna come about.... I better watch my ass then..LOL
