Well, it looks like I gave Wayne my flu bug. I handled it like a pro. Wayne, on the other hand, is.....a guy. Guys don't handle being sick very well at all. That being said, what do you use when you have the flu to make yourself feel better?

I told him not to kiss me....

I don't think that there are any known remedies to "Jarod", either. If he starts oozing.....

Nevermind. I don't want that visual. Jarod oozing....

For nausea Emetrol can work for me sometimes (expensive stuff but good, and don't refrigerate it).

Also for nausea (which to me is the worst part of being sick) I find a really cold classic Coke is often all I can hold down. Once I get where I can eat I can usually hold down celery sticks (contains a natural anti-nauseant) or snack on frozen blueberries.

I also swear by EmergenC vitamin C crystals that you mix with water or orange juice. It's got lots of other vitamins in there too.

Hot thai food...as in so spicy that fire is coming out your ears! After I eat that stuff, my flu is generally gone in a day or so. It also works for colds. :nut

~~~ Chicken Soup, with tiny noodles OR Chicken Boulion Cubes. They work like a charm in restoring one's energy.
~~~Coka Cola syrup

~~~Music, preferably easy listening or New Age (( ie Puremoods, Enya ))
~~~Lotsa sleep.

Steps: Eat the soup, with a little bit of Coka cola syrup on ice (( mixed with the real soda )). Go to bed, lay down and play some music on low. This helps you relax and sleep easier.

That always got me feelin' better!! =3

it's more the sore throat/fever/chills/body ache thing. I got him chicken soup (I'm not good at homemade soup), soda, All sorts of meds. He looked so sad when i came home from work. Like he was dying. He whined like most men do when they get sick, and I made sure that he had everything that he needs. I feel so bad for making him sick, as I had it last weekend. I really didn't want him to kiss me. I didn't want him to feel as bad as I did.

This is going to sound nasty, but it's my dad's remedy "from the old country," and it works, I swear! For a sore throat, warm up a small glass of white wine, add some pepper to it, and chug it.

Bishop likes egg drop soup when he's ill

Mom drinks ginger ale

Grandma would drink tomato juice!!!

I just lay in bed, roll around, moan and complain until I finally throw up or whatever. I like to eat mints when my tummy is unhappy.

my #1 cure for the flu.

take one clove garlic, peel said clove, put clove on a cracker (saltine) bake at 350 in a toaster oven until the garlic is soft and paste like, consume.

side effects are possibly sudden decrease in sexyness an horrible breath

normally 2 garlic crackers clears up any cold/flu.
