Words can so get in the way

If we could only talk in actions

We could walk around in my mind

I could show you what I dream

I could paint the perfect picture

I could write the perfect song

I’d find the harmony in your eyes

For my melody so strong

But that’s not going to happen

Nothing ever works out for me

So I’ll sit in silent mourning

For the death of what can never be.
