Saint Germain Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 nihilist suicide pop Spiritual Front - Slave
Joey Deadcat Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Not bad! Very atmospheric...almost an erotic feel to it. Pure, honest-to-goodness, genuine deathrock!
phee Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Digging the spookiness and feedback. Lots or roots in this music.
jynxxxedangel Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 That song makes me glad I haven't eaten anything psychoactive! It's so melancholy, spooky, and downright creepy. And now, for something completely different..one of my favourite bass players EVER; the incredible Victor Wooten, of Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, doing what he does best. This guy is unreal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ha0ESJIIDFg
KatRN05 Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 (edited) More Apocalyptica, this time with Nina Hagen. Edited September 29, 2009 by KatRN05
phee Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 http://www.youtube.c...h?v=5nV4yaBbn2s More Apocalyptica, this time with Nina Hagen. But..... where is your comment about the previous post??? Miss Jynxxx deserves the same as the rest....

phee Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 NP miss I am loving the apocolyptica track... that chicks German deep voice is pretty amazing... makes you want to conquer stuff. Now unto the strange genius of COIL. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLXBIH-VSTo
candyman Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 I kinda felt like doing a salsa kinda dance...then I had an LSD trip...that was one hell of a quickie! This is becoming really hard since original videos and/or original unmixed music is so hard to find on youtube...
jynxxxedangel Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 I love love LOVE Devildriver. I was looking everywhere for a decent clip of that exact song for this thread, about three days ago! What a coincidence. Some more of my beloved OLD shit.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6G1GiIDg-q0
phee Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 yay for rock n roll.... nice highpitched voice.... vocals remind me a of a lot of Rock from 70's 80's Because DGN has not been disturbed enough yet.... (I love this stuff)
KatRN05 Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Should I be dropping acid before watching that? Its pretty trippy minus the drugs.
phee Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Should I be dropping acid before watching that? Its pretty trippy minus the drugs. I think that song is drugs
jynxxxedangel Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 That song was definitely a trip and a half..it gave me serious flashbacks! ...and now, back to our regularly scheduled programming. Tell me what you think of this one:
phee Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 The beginning has some nice space rock feelings to it. Some nice traditional rock. More Pheetrax? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNmm0oGer3w
Raev Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 The beginning has some nice space rock feelings to it. Some nice traditional rock. More Pheetrax? I really dig the groove there! Reminds me of some stuff I used to hear AGES ago from time to time in Ascension UK. Must...have...moar! Also in a strange way reminded me of this band...don't know if I can explain it.. (music starts around the 45 second mark of the video)
phee Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Holy cow... I friggen love Mirranda Sex Garden so much.... they are one of my favorites (and such a good song you picked).... I re-recommend that one to anyone reading... For all you Mike Patton and Jennifer Charles (Alysian Fields) fans...
BloodCupcake Posted September 30, 2009 Author Posted September 30, 2009 Pretty minimal. Not bad. I could listen to it. This band just kicked out their lead singer Craig Owens. What a mistake. They're from Davison, Michigan if you're not familiar with them.
KatRN05 Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 (edited) Never heard of Chiodos. Great song. I'd listen to them. Has anyone heard of Ours? Well here's one of my favorite songs. Seen them live a couple of times, very good concerts. Edited September 30, 2009 by KatRN05
phee Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 good use of time and pacing. Singer has very good power and range. It has a good tribal feeling to it. From the band Goblin, the theme to 70's horror film Suspiria... tripped out and spooky. http://www.youtube.c...h?v=iJUaCAIxSk4
KatRN05 Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Suspiria was a great film. I believe Inferno and The Mother of Tears were the films following Suspiria making a trilogy called "The Three Mothers".
phee Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 A friend of mine got me started recently on Leaves' Eyes... love her vocals and the power metal behind it.
xerocalibur Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 That Frontline Assembly song... I'm digging it. Enjoy some Mad Capsule Markets, you guys http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UK59eMqbtJU
