She's got a classic voice, reminds me of when I lived in the mountains of Kentucky. *sigh*

Great "rockaboogie" sound! :) Dig the blues and dig that beat!

Anton Karas' theme from The Third Man - one of my all-time favorite films and one of my all-time favorite theme music:

Great stuff sir.... simple and yet full of mood.

Some bizarre minimilist trip hop

Could never get into Tool. However, they were one of her favorites and they're one of the bands I listen to on her iPod whenever I visit her crypt.

Part of the current goth movement: the lo-fi sound of Blessure Grave. :)

Lo Fi punk goodness... I can smell the booze and the smoke.

Their soundtrack covers are a lot of fun! Think I played their cover of the Spider Baby theme before while deejaying an event.

Alan Vega(one half of Suicide)!

The mumbling of the lyrics is a bit forced, but I do appreciate the asthetic he was going for. I dig the mouth harp a lot.

One of my fav somewhat off the radar songs from this awesome band.

It's very different from what I'm normally tuned in to.

Based purely on sound, I suspect Lucia from Drill and KMFDM may have been inspired by that, when she did her solo album "From the Land of Volcanoes"

I listen to EVERYTHING.. literary.. right now I'm into a "soft rock" kick.

And if I am to listen to something over and over it has to have some good lyrics and music combined together which is hard to find for me.

Got to love the Rollins of old.... pure punk in all its wonder

Still dig Coil!

Keep your Courtneys, your Gwens, your Madonnas, and your Lady Gagas! :pFor me, Danielle Dax (along with Diamanda Galas) is where it's at! :)
