glad to see the interest in this thread! :D

check this out - it's Mycenae Alpha by Iannis Xenakis, a Greek composer who died a few years ago. I think you'll like it.

perhaps I should explain the visuals: those scrolling drawings are the written notation for the composition. A UPIC machine "reads" the drawing (that's what the vertical line is) and plays the corresponding sounds.
