Music File Conversion Help needed

Recommended Posts

Posted

My daughter needs a karaoke copy of "Kung Fu Fighting" (don't ask) before Tuesday, the 6th.

I can find plenty of versions on iTunes. BUT, my Mac only converts between WMA, MP3 and a couple other Apple formats. I need it in audio format to play on a typical low end CD player.

I have an old version of Roxio, for an XP Windows machine I had, but my current XP machine doesn't have a CD drive.

Help!!!

{smartassedremark}...doesn't the phee know this?

.....if you have it in WAV...AUDACITY will make it an MP3...but, that's probably too much conversion...

I CAN convert it from AAC (I think that's iTunes standard file format) to MP3, that's not the problem, the problem is I can't make it AUDIO format from there.

... and yep, Phee knows. We have the Mac (with iTunes) and an XP Toshiba mini-notebook with no CD drive for my Roxio.

What version are you using?

There should be an option to burn an "Audio CD" when you press the "Burn Disc" button at the bottom of the iTunes window. That should play on any CD player.
