darknight1 Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Heh...Dark Room. Worse late night show I ever saw was Tom Goes To The Mayor. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kd0AeH94F4&feature=related
darknight1 Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 and another long forgotten show Ok that's got me laughing now.
Simon Bar Sinister Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 the 1st thing I thought of when I saw the title of this thread was:
jynxxxedangel Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 I used to LOVE R.J. Watkins on this show. Some of the interviews were classic. I remember there was even a heavy metal band on, one night.
Joey Deadcat Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 (edited) Surely, you all remember Back Porch Videos? http://www.youtube.com/user/backporchvideos Edited October 16, 2009 by Joey Deadcat
jynxxxedangel Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 (edited) Surely, you all remember Back Porch Videos? http://www.youtube.com/user/backporchvideos I LOVED BPV. It was all put together by Dearborn High School students. I actually connected with the producer of the show recently, through YouTube. He's a very cool guy. He has tons of segueway clips, band interviews, and featured videos from the show, on his YT channel! Here's one of my old all-time fave shows: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CmVOq6odk5E Edited October 16, 2009 by jynxxxedangel
darknight1 Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 the 1st thing I thought of when I saw the title of this thread was: Dave really is intelligent. It's a damn shame there's not many like him today.
Simon Bar Sinister Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 The Alan Thicke Show! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTOBP-VjeZA
prick Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Anyone remember Martial Arts Theatre with Charlie Lum? He was a local white D.J. or something but dressed in a bad Asian costume and was purposely over the top. Had a horrible accent and his long moustache was taped on and fell off regularly. I miss this show so bad and cant find it anywhere. The movies sucked but I watched it for the host.
pomba gira Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Never heard of Darkroom... must've aired in the early-mid '80s when I didn't watch TV. On the other hand, we never missed the Ghoul... it was a shame his show was on so sporadically (due to his frequent extended stays on psych wards). All horror-movie hosts pale before his legend!
