GothicRavenGoddess (3) Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 its things like this that are going to lead like things we see in the movies... *sigh* cool but still... yes.. lets just give our lives over to the machines....
TitsMcGee Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 I'm going to go with a big fat NO on this one.
Simon Bar Sinister Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 can't be any worse than the average West Bloomfield driver.
Rev.Reverence Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 can't be any worse than the average West Bloomfield driver. ...until one of them get a hold of it...
candyman Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 From what I have seen a lot of iphones are smarter than their users...who need their phone to find a bathroom and then may still need instruction on what to do once they have found the bathroom. I want to see what happens when someone uses that "bump" thing for sharing info on the iphone with another while they are driving...could you bump passenges and cargo from one vehicle to another withou stopping?
StormKnight (1) Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 I keep thinking of the BMW that was driven by cell phone in Tomorrow Never Dies.
Der Nister Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 I think new technology is (almost) always great but in this case.....................no. The raods are already filled with idiot drivers that have trouble doing what they should be doing while behind a wheel (and most drive badly). Now we have an 'app' that new drivers (i.e. 16 y.o. kids) will want to do because they are obsessed with their iphone. I pray they are never allowed access to that app.
n0Mad Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 I keep thinking of the BMW that was driven by cell phone in Tomorrow Never Dies. I was just thinking that.
TheGimp Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 yea...how about no...bad bad idea...your ganna have Rtarted Teenagers that think that there playing playstation or XBOX and then cause baaaaaad accidents
Simon Bar Sinister Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 hmmm... couldn't this make parallel parking easier? at least for some people? one could get out of the car and have a better view of the task at hand. ...or remotely controlling robots? ...then again, no more recruiting suicide truck bombers.
LadyKay Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Okay well that's cool and all but why would I need something like that? Why would I want my car to go driving without me?
Tacohitts Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 The last thing I ever want to do is use my I-phone to drive a car,WTF!
Slogo Posted October 28, 2009 Author Posted October 28, 2009 at least people won't talk on them (hopefully)
TheLordOfSins Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 I gotta get that app for my iPhone... lol
jynxxxedangel Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 ...until one of them get a hold of it... That's exactly what I was thinking, when I saw this thread.

Rev.Reverence Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 ...& then, there's the cost for the hardware...
Tacohitts Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 But the Germans are some of the best machinists in the world!
