Requiem For A Dream isn't (and does not pretend to be realistic) it is more of an artistic take on reality escape...

Where as Kids is very.... down to earth....

I watched Control today. It was an excellent movie...I was really impressed by it. Ahh...I love Joy Division.

I watched American Psycho today...it was a pretty good movie, and not very surprising or too gory for me. The main character is definitely disturbed and it was interesting to see how he went through his days and what went through his mind.

I avoided that one forever because I was *sure* it would be terrible. I was surprised to not only have liked it, but to have said at the end "you know, that could have used even MORE Nicholas Cage.
