There were storms over here last night, though in my area all it did was get really windy and rain. I was hoping for a good thunderstorm, but no such luck.

I'm so jealous. We don't get anything even remotely like a good storm up here aside from snow. No thunder, no lightening, and rain is sporadic at best.
