I plan on hosting a "dinner-and-movie" get-together here, sometime during the second week of his visit. Any suggestions for a date, a time, a movie playlist, and an entree?

He will be arriving the 21st of December, and staying until the 15th of January. I'm thinking maybe the 9th of January, as a possible date.
