ACK NO REALMEDIA BAD!

www.winamp.com trust me on this one. I've been boycotting real for years now. Winamp is pretty much the standard today for any media player.

Well back when they had RealONE audio player it would do a lot of advertisemnt popups and play commercials randomly when nothing was playing. Generally it was annoying.

I haven't used it in years, maybe their business practices have changed, but I need to try it out first before I will recomend it to people. I know Winamp to be free (for the basic version, which does everything anyway) and to work good. At this point I'd reccomend 8-track tape over realnetworks though. However I will install whatever the latest version of their crap player is and then write a full review about why it sucks (which it probably will if the past offerings have been any indicator).

Don't like it at all, just installed it and uninstalled it. Wanted me to "regester" so they could send me spam.

Too many ootions, and most of that is just bloat anyhow.

Wow sorry to hear it. It means your computer is really old since a basic Intel (80)486 can do MP3 resonably well.
